Classroom Training
All classes, whether ground (DOT 49CFR), air (IATA/ICAO), military air (AFMAN 24-604) or ocean (IMO), are offered as initial or recurrent training classes.
Emphasis is placed on DOT’s 49CFR as it is the “law of the land.” We then install and complement all the required alternative regulations. The 49CFR is used by DOT and FAA enforcement when conducting audits. Knowing and understanding the U.S. regulations goes a long way in communicating compliance with these officials.
Classes are taught via webinar with a live instructor. Our teaching style is “real-world” – no lengthy lectures, reciting regulation after regulation.
Student materials include a Study Guide inclusive of Work Projects, current edition of 49CFR and Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG). The alternative regulations, IATA / IMO / AFMAN 24-604, are available for class use. This allows the student to use and apply the regulations while keeping training costs down.
Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. each day.
Scheduled public classes run parallel with your employee’s recertification requirements.
